(A). The right of availability of State-owned land may be granted through legal procedures as long as the projects proposed by foreign investors conform to the provisions in the ?Catalog of Land Allocation? promulgated by the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources.

    (B). Besides the State-owned land allocated to foreign-funded projects, the investors may get the right of land use by their own choice out of transfer of land use right, leasing of land use right, with land as capital share and others, based on legal procedures.

    (C). The duration of land use shall be written in contract together by foreign investors and the competent land administration and the length of it cannot go beyond the limit of land availability obtained by means of transfer.

    The maximum length of land availability by transfer is 70 years for residence, 50 years for industrial purpose, 50 years for education, science and technology, culture, health, sports, 40 years for commerce, tourism, entertainments, 50 years for comprehensive purpose and others.

    (D). Foreign-funded projects enjoy the same treatment as those established by domestic enterprises in this city in the aspects of the right of land use and disposal.

    (E). ?One-stop? service is offered to foreign investors when they are handling land formalities, that is, foreign investors apply to the competent land administration of county (city, district) for land use with the approved documents such as contracts or articles of association, business license issued by the departments concerned, investment plan issued by the competent planning commission, outlining permit of construction land, legal representative's identification certificates and so on. The local land administration takes charge of coordination and finishes the necessary formalities thereof as early as possible.
